Tell Us What Your Drain Is Doing
Blocked drain? Send the details through the form below. A drain that blocks repeatedly, or one that is backing up now, almost always has a physical cause in the pipe, and the camera survey that finds it is the same step that tells you whether relining is the permanent fix.
Planning ahead, or holding a CCTV report you can’t read? Same form. The finding and the pipe material are usually enough for a contractor to say whether relining is even on the table before anyone visits.
There is no phone line on this site. The quote form is the way in, and it takes about a minute.

Fields: Name, Phone, Email, Suburb, Property type (house/unit/commercial), What’s happening (blocked drain / recent CCTV / pre-purchase inspection / other), Pipe type if known (terracotta / PVC / don’t know), How urgent (emergency now / within a week / planning ahead), Message / additional details
By submitting this form you consent to being contacted by Central Coast Drain Relining about your enquiry, and to your details being passed to an independent local contractor if your enquiry is referred. The contractor’s identity and licence details are provided before you accept any quotation. Personal information is collected by Mark A Jeanes (ABN 11 229 027 126), who operates this site; email quotes@centralcoastdrainrelining.com.au to access, correct or withdraw it.
What Happens Next
- Your details come to us and nowhere else. They are not sold, and they are not distributed to a panel of contractors to bid over.
- Every enquiry is screened and read by the operator. Automated spam scoring runs first; a person reads what is left.
- If a suitable independent contractor is available, your enquiry may be referred to them. Where licensing is required, their identity and licence details are provided before you accept a quotation. They inspect, quote, invoice and contract with you directly.
- A camera survey comes before any relining quote. It takes 45 to 90 minutes and gives the contractor, and you, the full picture. Nobody can price a pipe they have not seen.
- You decide. No pressure and no hard sell. If the enquiry cannot be referred, you are told that instead of being left waiting.
We do not publish a response time on this site. How quickly an independent contractor calls you is their business to promise, not ours.
Signs a Blocked Drain Needs Attention Today
If sewage is backing up into your home, overflowing outside, or you can smell sewer gas, treat it as urgent and contact a licensed plumber or drainer directly; do not wait on a quote form. Sydney Water and Central Coast Council are responsible for the public sewer main; anything on your side of the boundary is yours.
Signs that need same-day attention:
- Sewage backing up through floor waste or shower drain
- Multiple fixtures draining slowly at the same time (toilet, basin, shower)
- Gurgling sounds from drains when flushing
- Wet patch in garden above sewer line
- Sewage smell inside or outside the property
Once the immediate blockage is cleared, a CCTV inspection is what tells you whether it will happen again. See also: blocked drain repair on the Central Coast.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I get a rough idea of cost before anyone visits? Yes, as a range. The cost guide covers typical Central Coast pricing by job type. Every figure on this site is a market guide, not a price we set; a firm number requires a CCTV inspection, because nobody can price a pipe they haven’t seen.
Q: Is there a charge for the initial CCTV inspection? A standalone CCTV inspection typically runs $250 to $500 on the Central Coast. Contractors commonly credit that fee against the relining job when relining proceeds on the same visit. Confirm it with the contractor in writing before work starts: it is their arrangement to offer, not ours to promise.
Q: What is a rough budget for a typical job? For a 1970s Central Coast home with a standard 10 to 12 metre sewer line from the bathroom stack to the boundary, the commonly quoted range is $5,500 to $7,500. That is a starting point drawn from market rates, not a quotation; your actual figure may be lower or higher depending on what the camera shows.
Q: What if my pipe needs replacement rather than relining? Then relining is the wrong answer and you should be told so. Not every pipe can be lined: fully collapsed sections, extreme offset joints and some access situations require traditional excavation. Any contractor recommending a liner for a collapsed pipe is worth a second opinion.
Q: Can stormwater pipes be relined as well as sewer? Yes. Stormwater drain relining is separate from sewer relining and has different regulatory requirements. Read more about stormwater vs sewer relining →
